I enjoy not zerg rushing. And, again, early pulling doesn't exist. Not my problem if a Discord makes up fantasy rules.Tell that to everyone who hops on the trains for easier gear upgrades when that option pops up or because they actually just you know... Like conducting trains so more people rewarded, or doing trains because they enjoy it.
Jojoya is correct in stating that you aren't expected to get to every pull and they are intended to be a grind. But there's a reason the hunt community has a bad reputation with some people, and your attitude towards the rewards (not caring at all about other people) is partly the reason.
I'm well aware of what happens behind the scenes at Faloop having seen it for myself. It's why I limit my Faloop interaction. Faloop is more about controlling the community than simply offering relay support.
They are not the arbiters of what constitutes hunt disruption regardless of what their Discord wants to tell its members. SE is.
Look, another person that has bought into the early pull fantasy that doesn't exist in kill-on-sight content.
If early pulling was against the rules of the content, why aren't those players getting banned? Certainly they get reported often enough. It's because there is no such thing as early pulling. It's a concept created by players who like playing control games over others and then incite drama when others don't do their bidding.
Personally, I'm fine waiting a reasonable amount of time to let players arrive. Others aren't and so they pull on arrival or shortly after.
If the hunt community was truly against early pullers, no one else would be attacking the hunt. They would wait for whatever agreed time and then start attacking. Instead, almost everyone jumps in right away more often than not.
In other words, most of the community doesn't believe that fake early pull rule. They want to kill the hunt and move on with their day. But they don't want to be the ones getting harassed by the control freaks so they leave it to someone else to pull.
I just wanna add my voice to this thread. I think hunts should be updated. It's extremely archaic.
In my opinion there should be a barrier around each S-rank that prevents any damage for 5 minutes. There should also be an opt-in alert system message for any S-ranks that spawn on players' home worlds.
4 minutes. And you sync down to its level. Like in Bozja.I just wanna add my voice to this thread. I think hunts should be updated. It's extremely archaic.

The fact is that pulling an S-rank mob earlier than what the community is used to creates a massive amount of toxicity, which is evidence that SE needs to update the hunt system. I'm a firm believer in "don't hate the player, hate the game". It's true that "early pullers" aren't breaking any rules, but it really, really sucks when they do pull before most people can reasonably arrive.

"Resetting" hunt mobs is often more toxic than the act of "early pulling" is.
People not waiting a set amount time before pulling an S rank has been making people upset since as far as Heavensward, what do you think is the likelyhood of SE changing this now? What data has changed for them to want to make a decision now?The fact is that pulling an S-rank mob earlier than what the community is used to creates a massive amount of toxicity, which is evidence that SE needs to update the hunt system. That one Yak Tel S rank on Shadow, if any data can be pointed at.
Players were crashing due to the sheer number of players (2k+) in the instance because they were waiting for everyone to get there.
