    I have never cleared a Savage synced. The DT difficulty is perfect.

    My background. I've been playing for just over a year and have no real MMO experience prior to this. I tried gw2 for a bit, eso for a short spurt, and sw galaxies when I was like 16. I never understood them enough to effectively play them or advance significantly. Like, I had no idea what a tank was one year ago when I started.

    I attempted a Savage with a group just prior to dt release, and I felt bad that they let me join because my performance was so bad.. I was terrible. They had to explain some things like I was 5 and I had even watched a video before joining.

    I'm telling you. I'm a very average player at best.

    DT is the correct difficulty level.
    DEVs - please leave the difficulty as is. It's perfect.

    This is the normal experience when you do savage for the first time, it is a completly different way of playing the game, you have to think about so many things that you would never need in normal content.
    However, anyone who does extreme and savage or even ultimate will bekome much better at the game naturally.

    The Hammerhead boss for example, when he charges his arms , that is the exact same mechanic from Titan Savage, so i immediately knew what he was doing because i have seen it there.

    I came to the forums for the first time in years because I heard people complaining about the dungeons being hard... and I'm floored how many threads there are.
    I have never cleared a single Savage or Extreme raid synced since I started playing the game. Even the thought of doing so gives me anxiety. I'm as casual as they come... And I've not had this much fun playing the dungeons in the game for years.
    I still think the cadence is too formulaic. The 2 packs to boss system needs to change, it adds to the stale feeling overall, but the changes to the boss encounters have made the game so much more enjoyable and rewarding!

    Pretty much the same thoughts on dungeon design. I do however REALLY like the last pull in both of the optional dungeons. Having to actually think about mit in a pull as a DPS was refreshing, thinking about using Reprisal/AL for the party's benefit more than my own on tank is great and having to heal the whole party in between GCDs on SGE was just really fun. More of that, less of the "stand in a room and fight a dumb turtle with forced melee downtime for like 2 minutes straight." It's honestly baffling how they cooked so hard with the 91-97 dungeons only to drop the ball with the 99 one.

    It's definitely not conventional, but that big turtles' AoE damage it not substantial and can be face tanked by your Tank and Melee. Gives healer something to heal, gives tank someone to mitigate (your melee), and even allows for some Crowd Control tricks:

    The turtle is immune to stun only while casting, so you can delay its next use occasionally by stunning at the right time, AND healers can interrupt its stomp by casting Repose, as it is vulnerable to sleep. The turtle will become immune to a type of CC after 3 uses, but players have much more agency with this type of enemy than it might initially appear.

    I don't have any problems with the difficulty.

    That said, some of the trials are slightly too long (raids are perfect). It's something I notice during EW, but average players begin to do more errors when the fight get to 7 or 8 min. Maybe I just got unlucky but every trial I've done is between 10 and 15 min, and the more it last, the more chaotic it gets.

    If dungeons and raids nailed it, I feel like the trial still need a slight tweak on that front. .

    That's reasonable feedback. I honestly don't mind the longer trials bc we get less of those in the main story, but we do get an extreme version of most(??) of those. There's a give and take with everything. I would trade reduced normal trial time in exchange for leaving the normal dungeons alone.

    If there's a middle ground to be found, I'm all for it. A reduction in difficulty, however, should come with a reduction in reward.
    If anything, I hope they can just find a way to add an easy mode to duty support - not necessarily trusts - and massively reduce the amount of exp you get from those. Like, well over half. Because, to be fair, you can level a main via MSQ exp and it's not like they owe us an easy way to level secondaries.

    I have cleared Savages synced, I have cleared 3/5 ultimates, I've cleared 1/3 Criterion's.

    I also agree the content difficulty is perfect.

    honestly I think stuff is a bit undertuned, which is wierd to say I know. I did queen B while clearing for a friend today, and we were already skipping mechanics. Granted nobody died, but still.
    It being week 2, without savage and crafted gear even released, it feels off. Aglaia all over again
