I like /firedance.....
Boooo! Also, some players have been wondering if it will be possible to use the new dance emote after the event has ended. Unfortunately this emote is a special one that can only be used during the event. The /blowkiss emote from Valentione’s Day is something that can be used outside of the event, so as a special case we added it to the regular array of emotes.
Go on, let us keep it. What harm can it do?
Awww that's lame... I really like that silly emote~Also, some players have been wondering if it will be possible to use the new dance emote after the event has ended. The /blowkiss emote from Valentione’s Day is something that can be used outside of the event, so as a special case we added it to the regular array of emotes. Is there any possibility that we can keep it? Or at least get a few new dance emotes? (/dance1 /dance2 /dance3 etc.)
Any chance this can be made to scale more to the amount of people participating for those that didn't get it done in the first few days of event going live? Most people are done with the event now so there is rarely ever enough people doing it to successfully complete it, it's impossible with lower numbers as is
While I am ok with the idea of special emotes for events in some cases the basic emote that we can use anytime is pretty weak, and the event emote only shows that the game is capable of much better animation. This seems very true of the basic /dance emote when contrasted with /firedance. What I would say is please give us better dance emotes if we can't arrange to keep this one.

In point of fact it would be even better if you could just cut to the chase add the Dancer job.![]()
Nuuuu!! How is it that a dance is not usable outside of the event?? Its just like /dance but a different kind of dance. :/ I don't understand why it has to go.Also, some players have been wondering if it will be possible to use the new dance emote after the event has ended. Seems to me that in Thanalan you need around 30 people for a successful (no lost balloons) run...
But in Gridania you can do pretty well with around 7 people. :x
I haven't done Limsa.. and don't plan to.. but if anyone's having issues I recommend taking a few friends to the Black Shroud.
Hope this helps. <3

I tried all 3 cities. Gridania seems to have the fewest bombs and I think with 6 people you can beat it consistenly and get a full 20 ash. Ul'dah takes closer to 10-12 and Limsa I know you can't do with only 2. Haha.
My suggestion is to make a macro to make it easier on yourself, then you can all pick a place to stand and rotate. Or just move a little. None of that running around.
Line 1 /targetnpc
Line 2 /firedance
