German are great at speaking English, and everything was perfectly organized when I went there back in 2010. This being said by a French guy with terrible German skills. So no worries.

What he said. There are signs for cars that get you to the parking lots (about 8€ fee for the day afair), you leave your car there then switch to the free shuttle bus that takes you to the convention itself.

I imagine getting there by public transport will be even easier. Also yeah, most German people speak English decently. I am so pissed I can't come... because I have to be elsewhere that week, else I'd suggest to meet some of you >_<
