Quick Synthesis failed many times

in case anyone is interested... quick synth failing when you are above recommended craftsmanship (and appropriate level of the craft) appears to be tied to having an older offhand equipped. we did a bunch of testing and while i couldn't reproduce this, Nat was able to. 2 out of 5 lumbers broke wearing indagator gear and level 84 offhand. swapping to a lower level main hand was fine.

so if your quick synth is failing... upgrade your offhand.

Hello! I'll try it, but my offhand is level 90 (1 level under the craft) so I don't know how much it would change to a lvl 91 offhand. But is this a bug or an intended feature?

So I just tryied witha lvl 91 off hand and it still breaks, I don't know how to fix it

If you want to avoid the failure, it's better to craft manually until you get max level gear. That's also going to give you more XP if you add in a couple of touch steps to increase quality.

i spoke to someone today and i think i may know the issue...

level 91-93 tools (ik 93 does not exist, as 94 is better but it has a point here)
91-93 tools would be weaker then the 620 scripts, so the tool theory may hold, you need 94/94 or ilv 620 script tools not to break
