Leveling healing is too boring. Does it get better?

You get Afflatus Misery at level 74 but from what I hear from the community its a dps loss to actually use it and its on a long timer, (Blood Lilly has to be in full bloom) how ever long that takes.

Afflatus Misery is a DPS gain if used within buff window as it allows you to "prepare" 4 glares for the buff window specifically. And even outside of it, it's completely DPS neutral. Lilies are a great healing utility when there is need for movement as they allow you to keep uptime and heal at the same time.

And the heals are GCD, so they're not optimal for healing

Not sure why anyone would consider them not optimal for healing. If all you're doing is healing, lilies give significant party-wide healing and allow you to weave 2 oGCD's since they're insta-cast and use no mana. And if the goal is damage they're also the most optimal healing choice as it allows you to spend a GCD on healing at a zero damage loss. In most high-end content, Afflatus Rapture is the biggest contributor in % towards healing for White Mage.
