Wuk's VA being so hostile to players and other voice actors is frustrating.

Wuk's English VA has been controversial at best due to the performance in DT.

I've never advocated for someone to attack a VA over their performance, that's childish. But taking a look at their Twitter makes it really just not look great on Square. They actively argue with players, have called out other VAs for voicing characters that they don't like, and just antagonizing more replies from players in general. Hell, their Bio alone is them saying they'll block people just for having an icon on their name.

I'm not saying they should get fired, but holy shit this is new levels of unprofessional and childish. Please, have a talk with them. DT has already been a mixed reception at best; do we really need a VA out there going after players as well?

I don't know why I'm bothering, but I'm literally scrolling through her "with replies" tab right now and I'm not seeing any arguing with anyone whatsoever. The closest she comes is defending herself against people who say she's not Latina. The rest is just retweets, stream announcements, and chatting with people like a normal person.

I have been playing this game with Japanese audio since ARR and the censorship of Haurchefaunt.
I suggest everyone else to as well.

Her actions on twitter are representative of herself and nobody else. You don't have to like her, but her actions as herself only have an impact on herself. Additionally, her blocking Twitter Premium users is her choice to define what she wants her internet experience to be and who she wants to interact with her.

Additionally, any "attacking" she's doing is primarily towards players that are disrespecting her because they don't like Wuk Lamat, and even that is in defending herself.

Compared to other VAs, her voice doesn't suit the character at all, unlike the Japanese VA.
I have switched to Japanese audio -even though i understand barely some words- for this expansion. But it saddens me that i like the scions VAs in English a lot.
I did find some clashing in English dialog and Japanese audio -they not 100% the same-.

I do hope that SE doesn't pick problematic people to voice their characters in English, after all, what's more important? quality of the voice acting or just picking people because of representation without caring about anything else?

There are tons of people with good voice acting skills out there who are also looking for representation too.
