Why tanks mitigations are oGCD and healers heals are GCD(most of them)?

Most healer heals are oGCD, I got no clue what version of the jobs you are talking about. That's one of the core issues of healer balance right now, that virtually all raid healing is covered by oGCDs so we spend all time spamming our single GCD nuke.

Healers main source of healing comes from oGCDs, healer gameplay revolves around doing the least amount GCD heals as possible, I'm pretty sure any guide will tell you that.
WHM is an exception as its Lilies are GCDs but not a DPS loss since they allow to build Afflatus Misery which at the minimum neutral on single target if you don't align it with party buffs.

GCD heals only exist if you run out of oGCDs.

But I play old extreme sync min iL and it is more fun as a healer.. more planning = more fun
