How to kill a job in 1 easy step.


I'm not really sure what the complaint even is in the first post. Almost every job is use everything on cooldown because all the cooldowns are synced up and if you miss it by even a fraction of a second you start to lose alignment with the rest of the group little by little.
Warrior is totally fine, the problems appear to be dark knight and gunbreaker. Gunbreaker should have good damage but holy cow... square says viper is too busy with that job next to it and they have to manage tanking stuff too?
dark knight I'm guessing they just messed up some potencies and added the weird delays when they streamlined it

I'd argue it's the WORST designed and LEAST balanced job purely due to being the best at invalidating the existence of Healers. It'd be a well designed job in a singleplayer game perhaps, but this is an MMO.
...although it's hardly just a WAR problem considering level 100 GNB does a good job outhealing damage in normal content too.
...and Square seems to be the only one who thinks Viper is too crazy given how many Reddit and Forum threads popped up in heated disagreement with the concept of Square "reducing how busy the class is".I'm not really sure what the complaint even is in the first post. Square needs to learn to let some jobs be busy. There's enough jobs in this game that we should be able to pick one based on how active we desire to be... there's a distinct design problem if with the current number of jobs everything has the same level of busy in rotations/burst.


PLD has far lower healing and dps then WAR, so you can add that to your "problem" list. So then all tanks are problems, and WAR is the only tank working as intended. And WAR has about the same ogcd healing potential as WHM in solo or small group content, guess you can add WHM to the problem list too. To fix that healers probably need a full balance pass. And then with all that increased healing to go around, the ratio between healing and max health gets messed up (which SE intentionally fixed during the numbers nerf a few years ago) so then max health needs an increase. And then all content needs adjustments to go with the better suvivability...... Or just nerf WAR.I'm not really sure what the complaint even is in the first post. Warrior is the most played tank job followed by GNB. If anything DRK and PLD will get a rework before WAR.

And that's assuming the devs care enough to actually do that... expect just basic potency buffs on both Dark Knight and Paladin, and nothing else... Maybe 5 second duration increase on both No Mercy and Fight or Flight as well...

The only change Warrior actually needs is access to skill speed.
Is easy to balance. Just let bloodletting work on 3 mobs and no more. Anything else does not count for the heal.
Right now WAR has a benediction every 30 seconds because it has heal from every mob around. But, if you limit it with 3. It would balance off.
Sure, you will have a lot of WAR that have to LEARN how to tank. But is ridiculous that you got a benediction every 30 seconds. Just by swinging your axe two times on a large group. Go do fates as WAR on DT. You will see what I mean.
