    Square Enix is a massive company, any sort of knee-jerk reaction is a bad idea. I'm sure they heard of the article long before they responded but anyone who wanted to say anything about it has to go through the proper PR people before they are even allowed to peep about it.

    For all they know the project was shuttered and it just hasn't come down to them yet, hell the producer probably has his hands tied with only being able to mention that he left a meeting with the green-light from above.

    We cant really say its a new game...2.0 is really just a small redesign that is just a giant giant hotfix to fix all the problems in the game, so SE can finally say "ok no more complaining we fixed everything now everyone play".

    " Epic Trailer, Shitty game" I run across these comments too.. and those type of people are the ones that forgot FFXIV back in 2010 and never got up to date... They don't even have to pay any money for Beta ( Open Beta for Everyone) to try it out and they are being really one-tracked minded on not trying it out (for FREE).. they did work very hard to please us 1.0ers and getting 2.0 ready.

    No you don't, everything is being Transfer.. that is of course you do want to experience everything for Scratch like I am.. then you can re-roll, but still keep your strong Character ^^.
