How is Chrysalis a MSQ???? It needs to be removed or the mechanics dumbed down

Ignoring the obvious silly parts of what OP has said (Please, just read chat) I personally wouldn't mind if Chrysalis was made into a solo instance. I groan every time I get it in a trial roulette its just so incredibly unengaging on a similar level that Vishap was.

not my fault groups are MANDATORY. Why don't you stare at the chat while you take your first-ever turn in a mandatory for progression battle that has a mechanic that can kill the entire party.

i'm going to be blunt. if you don't want to do group content, an MMO is not a good choice.

TBH, as far as limit breaks go...

I think we need some sort of PvP style chat emotes related to the LB. Just some canned pre-typed lines that have a unique sound effect and maybe flash a big textbox in the screen. Stuff like "Stop LB", "Save LB", "Melee use LB", "Healer use LB", "Tank use LB", "Caster use LB". Too many times I see the wrong class use it. Or people not letting it build up to a high enough tier. Or people just sitting on it and not using it the entire instance. It's something that one person can easily screw up for a mechanic that is a team resource.

This is kinda why I preferred the FF11 system better. Where your LB was your bar, filled by you, and you could combo it and coordinate it with other player's LBs making unique combo chains. Or just use it on your own if needed. The only thing that sucked was how long it took that thing to fill up, you'd see it like once a day at most.

I find Chrysalis amusing because it has actual mechanics that people have to do to pass the fight. There's more than just dodging AoEs and hitting the boss really hard. If they upped the pace of the encounter a bit (say, reducing the cast time after the ball phases, there's a lot of just standing around there), it'd be a pretty fun fight for an ARR trial.
