Well, if you are asking ME what I'll want, I'll tell you: I believe that an MMORPG should be open to anybody and accomodate a wide range of skill levels, activities and tastes. BUT if you, as a developer, declare that MSQ is mandatory, then it shouldn't present any major roadblocks for a wide part of the playerbase. Then you can have optional hard raid content for players who would like to partake in that.
