The difference is that this person is acknowledging that, while other people like to couch their viewpoint as "what's for the greater good of the game". It's not the people who like the harder mechanics going "well I think the difficulty needs to be nerfed a bit".

    I'd sooner trust someone who's blunt about their motives, honestly.

    Yes, and within reason, it's a good thing. The problem is, we are past that limit here. I'd rather not see a third MMORPG destroyed by raiders.
