You want the game to be pushed in a direction that caters ONLY to people who DO NOT ENJOY the game. The person you're replying to, wants the game's level 100 content to actually be designed for players who enjoy the game, instead of people who don't want to play it at all.

The selfish opinion is the one asking to take away the most basic level of interaction with the game's content in favor of letting people who don't want to play XIV in the first place, get to literally afk through the game's level 100 content while everyone else is forced to play content that has no level of interaction whatsoever and is genuinely significantly easier than the level 40 dungeons.

It's not like XIV doesn't literally give you hundreds of hours of content that use recurring mechanics and incredibly intuitive encounter design in order to teach you how these mechanics work in advance...
