The problem is...nothing different has happened. Leveling dungeons don't suffer from power creep, and the level cap dungeons and raids are brand new. With little to no ilvl sync, they'll just get more and more lethargic with each new patch like always.In my six years of playing this game, I took my time specifically to make my first ever forum post to say that like tons of others, I loved the more engaging normal content design. This has been the expansion I had the most fun doing expert in since Stormblood, and I do not want the only voice being filled on the official forum to be people who does not want to engage with fight mechanics at all.
It's not just me either, my FC of 40 people of mostly casual players are also having a blast with the new dungeons. In fact, I have not heard a single one of my FC member outright say that they do not enjoy the improved fight designs. A few of them are even fully committed to crafter main and they had a blast as well.
SE, casual playerbase do enjoy the more engaging fight encounters. This game is on the right track. Please do not change them.
