Legitimate question - Do people enjoy the "stealth" quests?

I truly want to find out if there is a demographic for these quests. I get them in theory, but to me and most people I've talked to, they are kind of just...a chore. And I see people memeing on them all of the time.

So the people I know personally don't like them and internet denizens seem to not like them as well.

Does anybody? Should they just stop making those?

I've seen a few people say they enjoy them but in my personal experience, it's overwhelmingly "no".

That said, they may be in the game specifically to please people who do like that type of game play and to give us variety. They're not so common that they'll get me to stop playing the game.

If there is a decent number of people who enjoy them (even if it is a minority of people) I don't mind them being there. But like...Idk if these quests have more than 1% approval.

I really like them and when I stumbled to one the first time I was thrilled they had managed to include that mechanic into this type of game. I might think differently if they were too common but this far I've only stumbled to it couple times very far apart and not to my recollection in any dailies or other things one needs to repeat often. So bumping to it every now and then is always "yay" for me.

It was fun the first few times but since then it's become the exact same thing and even totally different NPCs all react the same way with the exact same lines "Huh? I thought I heard something... I must be losing my mind" every time they turn back.

I like the general idea of stealth quests, but I don't like how they are currently executed. I don't really know how one could make them better though, aside from maybe make hiding spots more generous? I had to repeat a bunch of them after I was very clearly not in plain sight or too close.

Also, two stealth quests in a row was a horrible idea, despite the second one being kind of fake because that dude doesn't look around even once.

I think they're fun. I wouldn't want them to be the whole game but they're neat.

I absolutely love these poorly explained quests that try to trick you at the very end so that you then have the opportunity to do the entire tedious process again from the start.

Honestly the current "stealth" game feels like a punishment for complaining about escourt quests. So now we have escourt quests that you can fail; thats all these are - there is no "stealth" involved here; your not really planning and since your shadowing the character your forced to "stealth" at the NPC pace.

The *idea* is fine. I like the concept.
How they are in game though is extremely poor. The new icon helps slightly but there's still at least one or two in DT that were longer then they should have been.
