Brought "FINAL FANTASY XIV Online Complete" from Amazon

I brought FINAL FANTASY XIV Online Complete from amazon for a friend as a gift expecting every expansion to be included but Dawntrail wasn't included, this costs £35 the same as complete (with the same name) on the official store.

I don't want to pay another £35 so they are able to play the new content once they reach it but we have used the code/key already. Is there anything we can do? Thanks.

None of the Complete Editions on Amazon have Dawntrail, they are all Endwalker if you look at the pictures and descriptions.

The best you can do is attempt to get a refund, but they probably won't if the code has been viewed or used, as you failed to read the description.

If your friend used the code, then they will need get Dawntrail to upgrade.
