Alternative to female Au Ra?

The real problem with female midlander is their hilarious run. I don't mind their other emotes, just that run is so silly.

I find the running animation fine. in fact, i had trouble playing anther race for a long time because, the others running animation was weird to me XD

Legend has it on some far away websites there exists the ability to make the Au Ra woman of your dreams a reality. While Dawntrail may have sundered this once vast world, even now, there are whispers of taller FemRa, more options for scales and tails and horns, sharp teeth, black sclera, more beast-like feet, and so on.

But those are just rumors I've heard...

It's been a hot topic since Au Ra were added to the game a decade ago, and everyone is probably sick to death of hearing about their concept art, but... I refuse to let it go, they were so close to (my) ideal! That the devs seemingly found even the much more sensible size difference in this official(!) render insufficient galls me to no end...

Miqo'te players now have a more imposing alternative in the form of female Hrothgar, but short of making as androgynous a male as you can muster (and believe me, I've tried), no such option exists for female Au Ra... In an ideal world, Au Ra would've been given the Hyur treatment of markedly different clans from the start and thus satisfied a wider variety of player preferences but, alas, that was not the case...

Now, I... actually have no clue how they might realistically provide us with this hypothetical alternative, especially since the size difference is cemented in Au Ra lore... besides adding an entirely separate reptilian/draconic race (Meracydian, perhaps?), that is, but I suspect the overlap would have a lot of players think it's a waste of dev time and resources more than anything...

Thoughts? Ideas...?

I'm sorry, but's never going to happen. Look at how they've handled Hrothgar and Viera: do you honestly think they could do what you want any form of justice? I don't think they can. You'll end up with a half baked idea with 3 haircuts (and 2 bang options, wow!) and no hats.

Consider the game does not lack in tall, large, and bulky female options which youd are not even playing as one, is the gaslit attempt even necessary? In fact, they're outnumber the small/cute version in a ratio of 5 (Highlander, Roe, Viera, Elezen, Hrothgar) to 3 (Mi'qote, Lalafell, Au'ra) with Midlander as the neutral option. So the people who think the fem Au'ra should be bigger for them ... aren't that a bit selfish?

Also, last time I check this is a game, not affirmative hiring. Isn't a game supposed to be giving what the majority of its playerbase want? Considering Mi'qote and Au'ra are the two most played female, even if this is a suit decision, I say the suit made the right decision this time.

Even if there was a taller more masculine version it's not like people wouldn't just use means that are against ToS to make that version even more lore breakingly tall and try and make up some overly complicated reason to explain why their character is lore accurate.

I found it interesting that

Zoraal Ja and Otis (who shares the same rig) actually properly use VPR and PLD animations,

makes me wonder if the devs still harbour ambitions for Mamool Ja to be playable one day... Of course, animations would be the least of their problems (inability to wear gear, the way it's currently set up, probably being chief among them), on top of just the fact they're... sorry to say, I think they're kind of an ugly design...?
