DX_11 Crash at Area Load

Good morning! Thank you for posting in the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums.

We do apologize for the inconvenience, however as previously mentioned it appears that your CPU [AMD Phenom(tm) II X6 1090T] does fail to meet the minimum requirement [Intel® Core™ i7-7700]. As such, unfortunately we are unable to guarantee that your system will be able to run FINAL FANTASY XIV as it can be a graphically and computationally intensive game.

Please double check that your system meets the minimum requirements here:

As this time we may only suggest the following:
- Please try adjusting/lowering the resolution and graphical settings.
- Please try running the game as an administrator.
- Perform a clean boot by opening the task manager and select the 'Start up' Tab. Disable everything.
- Please be sure that Final Fantasy XIV is installed to the C: Drive. (If Steam version, make sure both the game and Steam are installed on same drive)
- Make sure that the Windows OS is fully updated.
- Update and reinstall the drivers for your graphics card and sound drivers (if applicable). Additionally, it appears that your GPU [Radeon (TM) RX 480] was last updated on [2/19/2024]. At this time, a newer version should be available.

As your CPU already fails to meet the minimum, if you would like to try and access FINAL FANTASY XIV anyway we would recommend trying to not run any other nonessential programs in the background to allow for ample resources.
