Personally, I hated reading all the fail posting from Alpha build all the way on through to open beta. Most of the frequent posters were people who though they were chosen to rewrite history from their view, because they thought they were given the power to do so; when in fact the only thing they were chosen to do was list program problems they found and give general feedback about game-play, even give advice on how certain aspects could be improved. "General feedback" meaning a reaction to the content they were given to interact with, not a life story of how they envisioned the world to be, how it should be, and every tiny detail into how to bring it to fruition; because this was not meant to be "their" game, it was (for the most part) a finished work that needed refinement.

Imo, no one should be "entitled" to a position in the testing phase for the re-release, except may be those that are capable and able to give the developers the information that they are looking for, not peoples' vision on the way to totally redesign an aspect of the game. The Beta phase is designed for refinement, not reform; why can't people understand this?...
