If the victory fanfare is fanservice, then so are moogles, behemoths, bahamut, chocobos, etc. It's tasteful fanservice, so far. Reoccurring themes isn't really fanservice. I guess Magitek and the Crystal Tower are, but again, those seem to be tastefully done from what we've seen.
