Gradual frame drops all the way down to the 10s.

This has been happening around 7/12/24 (game ran completely fine before). I load into the game at 60fps (I capped it at 60 but I CAN run it over 60 if I uncapped). My frames will just gradually drop to 50s, then 30s, all the way down to the 10s no matter where or what content I do. In a few cases, it's dropped so low where my monitors just black screen (something to do with my graphics card?). I have tried a lot of the proposed solutions (reinstalling drivers and game, lowest settings, etc). Don't know if this is hardware related. Weird thing is, every other game that I play regularly doesn't have this issue.

    System specs:
    Processor: 11th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-11700F @ 2.50GHz
    Installed RAM: 16 GB
    OS: Win11, 64-bit
    Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060

Posting this here in case anyone has found any solutions or ideas.

Can you check if the memory usage of the game also increases over time as the fps goes down?
It sounds like a memory leak which might be caused by an issue with the drivers.

I dont have invidia or intel components but my SO does have a 4060 and she has some frame drops in areas where my AMD card runs flawlessly

I'm using a 3060 12gb with i5-12400F. Max settings with DLSS on. Most taxing is 300-400 players in the same zone during A/S Hunt. Frame rate drops to 20-25fps.

Normally in town is around 40-60fps.

If the issue isn't resolved by reinstalling drivers and adjusting settings it may be something else with the system. I would consider a few other troubleshooting steps.

    1. Check Game File Integrity (you can do this in the launcher)
    2. Reinstall the game completely
    3. Shut down other processes and apps running on the PC
    4. Consider resetting windows completely, to remove any other apps that could be causing the issue.

For the last one you will want to make sure you backup your files and data to an external storage media first.

Your system definitely can run smoothly at high mode. 16GB ram might be a bit low IMO.

I'll add another 16GB, re-format the PC and reinstall everything.

You should monitor task manager if you have a second screen while playing. It sounds like some other app or process is hugging your CPU's processing from time to time. Either that or RAM or Disk Drive (SSD/hard drive).

Find a way to have task manager open when this happens and you'll see which component's hitting 100% usage every 10-20 minutes.

Moreover, try removing certain USB peripherals like camera or headphones or even try swapping to another mouse and see if it could be that. Sometimes incompatible USB devices that have no compatible drivers can cause windows hiccups.

That sounds like overheating to me.

What are your cpu/GPU temps when the framerate starts dropping.

Yes, it also sounds like this might be the issue.
To add to this, it could also be a dieing power supply. Not getting enough power can also do this. What's the wattage for your power supply?

For now I'd monitor both temperatures and cpu/gpu/hard drive usage in task manager.
