Still, I also worry, knowing the outspoken history of the VA Sena Bryer and the framing that all criticism is an attack on the VA, that SE, for optics reasons, doubles down on this character and makes her a Scion.

And somehow, I see plausibility in that, with Wuk Lamat's adventurous nature and desire to always help people, she could be a fit within the ranks. Plus, Kona has more leadership qualities than she does, so he could hold down the fort in Tural.
