Look, I don't downright hate Wuk Lumat, but she certainly didn't win me over, either. I see a lot of folks hoping that after 7.3, they pivot away from her and fast. Still, I also worry, knowing the outspoken history of the VA Sena Bryer and the framing that all criticism is an attack on the VA, that SE, for optics reasons, doubles down on this character and makes her a Scion.

And somehow, I see plausibility in that, with Wuk Lamat's adventurous nature and desire to always help people, she could be a fit within the ranks. Plus, Kona has more leadership qualities than she does, so he could hold down the fort in Tural.

I think I'd quit.

They won't double down. Wuk Lamat is a city state leader ie. she will stay in the New World mostly and therefore won't be following us around to where we go next.

Do we talk to other city state leaders that much? Not really. Once in a blue moon.

I actually wanted to see her as a Scion when we started the MSQ, but as I said, she is a city state leader now. So let's just move on.

Right. Aymeric didn't become a Scion. Hien didn't become a Scion. Vtra didn't become a Scion (haha.) Even Zero didn't become a Scion.

Lyse stopped being a Scion when she took over leadership of Ala Mihgo.

City-State leaders have their own countries to deal with, and the Scions have to travel the world to take care of stuff in other places.

G'raha was an exception, because he was a Student of Baldesion, and they ended up having to merge with the Scions after the Isle of Val got Eureka'd. And his time as Crystal Exarch on the First was over, so he left the Crystarium to Lyna.

He and Krile were the only two Students left. Not really much of an order. So, well, they're Scions now.

I don't see it likely and the image we saw in the LL, they were in Sunperch which is where I would expect them to be as city state leaders. It's possible one or both of them come to Alexandria with us in that arc even if we didn't see them there, but it's not likely Wuk can just give up her position to go haring off on adventures. She has responsibilities.

Good news. There's absolutely no chance that'll happen. It'd make as much sense as the Sultana becoming a Scion.

He's only the Vow of Reason and with their father it was established there also needs to be a Vow of Resolve. I don't think she'd be able to step away from that easily once she agreed to take the position on.
