What is Machinist identity?

really is it gun job?
which gun?
multiple guns?
Bazooka big and slow guns?
or machinist using robots to do explosion?

I think Machinist can be 3 jobs:
1- Light wight gunslinger: using light wight guns that do fast attack like viper. (DPS)
2- Heavy wight Bazooka style job: using hard hitting sniper bazooka or something slow but hard hitting job. (DPS)
3- An actual machinist who use only robots to tank damage.(Tank)

what do you think machinist identity is?

At this point machinists are mostly a gadget/Frankin'gun job. At max level almost nothing is done via the actual gun in your hand.

...which is why I insist on removing it and replacing it with something techy and bringing in an actual gunner job.

The people who want a gunner get their wish and machinist is largely unaffected.

I think this job can be split into more than one

Now it is kinda everything in 1 job which is weird
It is like trickster that can surprise you which something out of the box

Sad this kills the identity of the job the job "machinist" should use only "machines" in their skills

Gun kills the name and identity

For me PVP Machinist moved more toward trickster gunner kind of job

And pve is nothing but trickster to me

MCH identity often sends me the idea of Doom / Wolfenstein protagonist using their main weapon as a reliable way to deal with common ennemies but swapping to heavier weapons to deal with bigger targets.

One gun for all problems, bigger guns for bigger problems.
