I could easily see an npc giving this information that is located near the entrances of the zone. I doubt they will force "a strong in-game guide" on you the first time you enter a map. That would be an unpleasant sight for most people.

I'm sure you can go into the UI and turn whatever it is off.
Why do people flip out so much over crap they haven't even seen or experienced yet? It's like you have some sort of premature complaint syndrome or something.
Why do people so staunchly defend unknown new content they haven't even seen or experienced yet? It's like you have some sort of premature accepance syndrome or something.
Point is it's silly to call someone out for disliking something they have yet to see, and at the same time hold the oposite pre-conceptions. We are all allowed to speculate on what said content can/will/might be like and wether we will enjoy it or not.
I feel content finder has deeper ramifications than just being something "Extra" I beleive it is a core concept that will make future content development require it revolve around it's involvement. As I'm not one to care about cross server party play (Lack of community building and whatnot) I don't enjoy it being something that (If done properly) will effect how I enjoy playing the game (Outside of instances)

The problem with some of these people is, once you do that, all you see is a boatload of "This message is hidden because xxx is on your ignore list"
I don't mind autowalk actually. Especially for extreme distances. But I do agree it looks a bit ugly and it's out of the question for something like Final Fantasy. Works great in stuff like EVE though.
