Congrats! Sadly I'm still counting since the second week of DT 7.0 release and none of my 10 retainers (20 total) on two characters have ever brought back a stone partition or neon lights

Can someone confirm. I read somewhere that melding perception on your retainers = higher chance of them bringing back better bonus items (minions/housing furniture).

I found from a Reddit thread a change made back in 5.4 patch notes that says retainers will bring back more items and higher chance of bring back rare items if they have more powerful gear. It doesn't say anything about materia but I'm gonna try and see if that helps them bring me neon lights and stone partitions more often. You can find this info near the bottom of the 5.4 patch notes under System. I finally got my first neon lights yesterday after 3/4 of a year of sending out 20 retainers between two characters :3

This site says it does improve the odds for more items and chance for rare items for using Perception Materia from changes made prior to the release of EW/patch 6.0. I'm gonna now craft all my DoL retainers the most recent gathering gear and meld them all with as much perception as possible :3

Same. I’ve gotten another couple vertical neon lights, but the horizontal and the stone partition still haven’t shown up for me.
