And what about my point that what currently feels rare will likely become common in the months ahead as more players are able to farm the level 100 ventures? Most problems people have with anything game- or life-related are problems they created for themselves. So yes. You're right. I created this problem for myself.
Despite that, the decision to gate Neon Wall Lights and Stone Partitions the way they currently are, is still a poor one. There are items better suited for rarity than those.
I'm not sure why you opted to call me out on being technically incorrect about the items being required in bulk, but I'll assume the majority of people reading my comments understand what my issue is and can overlok technicalities.
Stone Partitions can be used as a single item for decoration or accents. They are however also made with the creation of rooms in mind. Creating rooms require multiples.
Lights can also be used as single items for decoration or accents. Illumination for anything other than the tiniest of rooms also require multiples though.
In contrast to these items, plushies, tabletops, portraits etc. are better suited for rare and expensive finds, because their intended uses still work by having just one.
The items will stay scarce unless they become available through other means, like treasure maps. If everything stays the same, months from now the supply will be higher than it currently is, lowering the price to a number I cannot know. But taking my experience with a similar item into consideration (Flagstone Loft), prices will stay in the millions and supply too low to build rooms. Prices only dropped and supply increased for those once the Loft's availability threshhold was lowered.
I guess my main complaint is Neon Wall Lights and Stone Partitions are a bad choice for vanity items. From a housing construction perspective they're mainly just regular building blocks. Nothing one would usually buy to show off, like a portrait or a fancy desk.
Stuff like lofts, partitions, doors, lamps are essential for building. They should not be treated as rare items. Specially in the partitions department we lack variety in the first place, because so much stuff is catered towards Marble Partitions, that seeing Stone Partitions restricted in this way hurts even more.
I don't know how much housing you do. I do a lot. And seeing items I need to build stuff I wanted to make for ages inaccessible like this is disheartening. I'm aware that they will increase availability at some point. They should never need to do that though. Rare items should stay rare. They just need to pick those items more carefully and not use essentials like floors, walls or light sources for it.

Don't know what's happening over there on EU but prices for Flagstone Lofts never stayed in the millions in NA. They dropped below a million within 6 months and bottomed out around 150k at one point before new sub sectors were added. Even then, the price increase was temporary, only got to about 600k then went back down to the 200-300k range after a couple of months. The items will stay scarce unless they become available through other means, like treasure maps. Not every player gets to run a workshop while they do get access to retainers. Again, this is a temporary problem as more players start getting through DT MSQ and leveling their retainers to 100.
It's absolutely fine for them to be treated as rare items because you've always got all the other partition types to fall back on.
If you do a lot of housing then you'll also have access to a lot of retainers. Take advantage of them. Then you won't have to worry as much about relying on marketboard supply.
