Oh I see. That makes sense.I don't know about protanopic-colorblindness, but as a deuter colorblind person the "color blind settings" in FFXIV are a joke. They don't actually help with clear readability and the distinction of AoE/mechanic markers amongst floor coloring and background noise. They shift the ENTIRE color spectrum for the whole game and it doesn't help the actual problem. So not only does the game now look like shit because every single color has now shifted in tone, (for the Deuteranopia settings the game now looks washed out, and all color vibrancy is gone) but the problem of certain mechanic markers having a tonal difference too close to the surrounding environment isn't fixed at all. If SE were smart they'd let you specifically customize the color of AoE circles, etc.
Honestly, it's like whoever created their "accessibility settings" doesn't actually understand what color blindness is.
