    It's because it's the only raidbuff in the game that loses % it directly effects bards main purpose it also effects the damage that comes out afterwards from the follow up attack. So you do bad damage and you have a bad buff. Bards best attribute is it's buff, having a weaker buff from dying makes you inferior to Dancer. I'm not sure if you played current bard in savage, I did for p5-7s and it was really bad and unfun. I also played it recently for the current extremes and it isn't better if anything it's gotten worse.

    Unless buffs realign and I am using wanderers for burst bards damage plummets down so far a tank can overtake it. Bard does way too little damage so if you don't stay rigidly optimised you will have absurdly low damage. If a tank can out damage a DPS why would you ever take that DPS to encounters with enrage timers.

    It is subjective, everything I say is subjective obviously. There are people who love new summoner others who hate it. I think it suits dancer with more songs because dancer does exclusively burst buffs while bard has consistent buffs I think dancer gaining one extra dance or even using the new flourish finale to buff devilment or something would work better for dancer then bards radiant finale. Foe's requiem always suited the burst period better for bard then radiant finale ever has.

    I didn’t believe them when they said the bosses would get smaller so melees don’t have 100% uptime.

    The devs cater to melee. They are the protagonists of the game.

    The gap between melee and ranged DPS/ Rez Caster is currently way too large since the adjustments.
