So, i have to keep doing leves from the respective company untill I get the one with the gear?
So, keep paying 100 or however points and getting those faction leves?

Yes

You do them in order so to unlock 2 you must do 1, but they stay unlocked and you don't have to redo 1 to redo 2.

And 1 is unlocked by default?
