I too am favor of better aiming sets because they often base the scouting set around it so my jobs also suffer.

I mean what is seen as fem and masc is rather subjective and varies by culture and upbringing. So you would like more USA stereotypical Masculine Gear ?
What kind of visuals and styles would you like as aiming gear?
Note: im a slow typer, this post is already outdated.

I dont know I think Aiming gear looks better than most, I wish I could wear some of it as a tank.
The big problem stands in "the middle".
Like, usually (there are outliers, though) they make just 3 silhouettes for the collections, so I often see the aiming set sharing most of its model with one of the DoM, for example, or the scouting niche. It doesn't feel as if they actually design most of what the Aiming group gets with them in mind and instead they just randomly pick one of the silhouettes.

Exactly. More than any other gear grouping, Aiming is the one that suffers the most from these arbitrary restrictions, with DNC and BRD mostly having to wear things designed with a MCH in mind from the looks of it. And now that we have PCT, the DNC of the Casting group, I worry there won’t be anything that really caters to their aesthetic.Aiming is a fun one.
Bards have a flamboyant motif.
Dancer have varied dancing outfits.
Machinists have guns and more guns...
Yet in multiple cases they are sharing the tank armors but without a cloak!
All in all this issue could have been avoided by very simply DROPPING THE GLAMOUR RESTRICTIONS.
But sure, glamour restrictions are there to preserve job identity. lol
Yes, the job identity of "does it wear X weapon?" because even the restricted glamour system has no recognizable silhouettes or anything without even trying too hard.
But sure, can't give the caster roles anything but dresses. But the PvP full plate outfits are fine.
The restrictions are dumb and I swear they're mostly there because they can't divorce not being able to Need roll off-role items and being able to glamour the items.

Agreed… I mean they could still keep the roles for rolls! lol Just unlock the role restrictions on wearing of it. Or phase things out to “All Classes” after it’s no longer current content.Yes, the job identity of "does it wear X weapon?" because even the restricted glamour system has no recognizable silhouettes or anything without even trying too hard.
