I agree this person claims to be doing raid content with more complicated mechanics but struggles with the new stuff. This doesn't smell right IMO.

I would add onto this that this time they got a bit more interesting, by replacing vul stacks with dots and status effects, wich kinda help the complains about healers not having much to do from EW, overall really fun fightsAnd furthermore, players need to understand ITS OKAY to fail. It's okay to get a vuln stack, or fall off the arena, or get KO'd and wipe. You don't lose EXP like in FFXI for dying. You just start again. This raid tier is tuned properly: there's a challenge, but that challenge is not so difficult that you can't overcome it in a few pulls or, if things go really awful, a single lockout. You're not meant to be able to queue into any duty blind and clear without a single mistake every time, unless you're some hardcore type gamer who can read ahead. Even so, those of us who do savage raids still make mistakes now and then. Mistakes are okay. It's too bad you're quitting before even trying.
Since this is a feedback thread, I just wanted to drop my two cents and say that while I sympathize with OP for struggling with Normal mode content, I disagree with them, and I think their requests will make the game worse.
I'm sure if you just opened a PF, people will help you get through whatever you may get stuck on. In every normal mode battle in the entire game (with maybe like one exception I'm not thinking of), a party can carry a DPS that literally doesn't even touch their controller/keyboard.
This is a good point. 7 people can clear the duty for you. If the excuse is "I have social anxiety", then you actually shouldn't be playing an MMO. MMOs are inherently social games despite the devs best attempts to convert most of it into a single player game.Since this is a feedback thread, I just wanted to drop my two cents and say that while I sympathize with OP for struggling with Normal mode content, I disagree with them, and I think their requests will make the game worse.

So, I absolutely think posting on the forums is probably the best way to give SqEnix feedback as a normal player.
However I couldn't disagree more with the normal content being too difficult. Dawntrail is hundreds of hours into the game; it is about time that normal content has higher intensity, there are 51 required MSQ dungeons before Dawntrail which is plenty of practice to learn the mechanics and spot the patterns between mechanics.
Dungeons don't have DPS checks, if you are struggling with a mechanic, you can run it with a trust and stop hitting your damage buttons for the duration of the mechanic you find difficult. Hell, with trusts if you're playing DPS you can just not DPS and do the mechanics. Will it take longer? For sure. But it makes the game mechanically easier. Raids have always been optional content, so if you find those too difficult you can opt not to do them, as you would with Savage or Extreme.
I really don't want SqEnix to renege on making normal content harder, so I think it's important to add another voice to the pile that I truly do love this expansions fight designs and encounters so far, and I really hope they keep it up.

Thank you to those who were nice, should have known 95% would not be.
We should all strive to be like Shenlao. Have Compassion for your fellow player, stop being a jerk! You can like content someone else is having issues with and not be an a$$hat about it
I genuinely do not understand how you could even get stuck in a dungeon. Even when you die every 2 mechanics, a mediocre DF pt can easy carry you through any dungeons.I actually struggled in Endwalker, so to me Dawntrail is unplayable
and It isn't for lack of trying, I promise you I study video's and Give My ALL. SO I am sick of people saying we're struggling because we're not trying!
And I am sick of the Rude attitude people are giving, This is not the community I have grown to love, These people don't care about anyone's experience but their own!
I am currently not playing Due to frustration, and being stuck on a dungeon.
I log in do my beast tribe and go play GW2 But I am seriously considering it may be time to actually quit the game.

If you don't like doing content and prefer a social experience outside of running story, the game is not forcing you to do this. If you do not like raiding, the gear provided should not be important to you anyway. This content is going to be easier when gear level outscales it in a month. This isn't an attempt to tell you that your feelings are invalid, but this is also a hard case of a small minority expecting developers to pander to them constantly while ruining the fun for everyone else. A game for everyone is a game for nobody.
