That is a completely different and unacceptable problem, which happens to be reportable.PF is getting worse with third party tool parses being demanded, and friends I do have whonhave gotten clears in savage ar getting kicked off teams constantly for the tiniest mistakes.
Giving the 'crushing difficilty' people an inch has caused the game to get less friendly, forgiving, and fun.
MSQ content is for everyone, not just people that don't like battle content.
It's not been fun for a long time for a significant and growing portion of that playerbase. Thus, it makes sense that they're trying to shake things up to give those players something to look forward to.
If you're ever stuck on a party duty in MSQ (and probably up through Alliance and normal raids), put up a PF for it, explain that you need help for a first time clear and I guarantee you will have people join you no matter what role you're filling. They might even offer explanations of mechanics, play style tips or to be friends/joining social groups that might help you in the future. The people that are jerks are honestly less common, especially when it's a group to help someone struggling with something most didn't find too difficult.
Just please, take our excitement as genuine. So many of us are enjoying the battle design again after so long, and we would be very sad to see it return to the ShB/EW status quo so soon.
its hard for some people to understand that dying/wiping is a part of the process, not a failure state
Pretty sure the streamers aren't the ones "putting a taget" anywhere.
Have we been playing the same game? If you want to bring up the patterns built in the past 10 years, EW would be the dip in normal difficulty and what we are experiencing now is actually rebound towards difficulty we've had before. Not everyone wants a constant challenge. You ex players and raiders get your own modes and challenges, some people just want to veg out and enjoy a non challenging game, which the game has been for ten years, to it's success. Stop trying to make other people play your way.

They don't have an answer for this that won't make them look and sound like a total hypocrite. They had a solution to the left right mechanics by saying it out loud yet they complained about, and they like the math boss. They have a solution on how to do it, might just do the problem in their head, but thinks because they can do that it's somehow different and more difficult of a mech so have to say it out loud. Is essentially what I gather from their posts.
I just want to say the slight changes are great. If you have a hard time in this game, fail and learn from your mistakes and get better. Who wants to just frolic through a dungeon or raid in easy mode... I am not going to read through too many comments but I just want to say, please don't tell these guys to make the game easier. I already miss all of the fun mechanics like in Snowcloak or Castrum Abania. Seeing dungeons getting nerfed is depressing.
I agree with dude on top making game easier is annoying. I dont wanna play your catered to mess of a game cause you refuse to get better. Take some words to heart and grow from them Thou must live, die, and know. Those words help allot. We live through mechanics so that you may know them, we die to try again from past mistakes, now that we know we grow from failure to suceed. So take mothers words to heart. Do some growing of your own.
You open the door theres nothing in sight. You close the door wondering whats in sight. But lets be honest its probably gonna just let you down.
I would reply that there is only 1 math boss (so far), so adding another one would make it 2. On the other hand, bosses requiring running around to resolve mechs are added by dozen every major patch. So, the numbers are clearly skewed in one direction
But that is besides the point. There are many other way to make a more complex fights. You can have adds, you can have interrupts, you can have cleaves, target changes, etc. (I was amazed when we got an add phase in the first DT dungeon, because I couldn't even remember the last time we got one). But somehow, neither of these appear in modern raids, despite being present in ARR and HW several times. Only "stand and let resolve" matters now.
Well, I don't know what to say. I don't get why having to remember a combination of 5 "left"s and "right"s is a more fun mechanics rather than, I don't know, kill adds while placing them properly or interrupt the boss. They had a solution to the left right mechanics by saying it out loud yet they complained about, and they like the math boss. You're right there are other ways too, to change the pace, this time they went with that one. That being said, I'm pretty sure Eden normal raids had adds. Not sure of EW as I barely participated in it. Bad storywroting really grated me there. In any case adds tend to either be meaningless, or if actually meaningful require coordination between tanks, which is often left to be a purview of savage, ironically much for the reasons people here are against, the normals are attempted to be made easy enough for people to pass with minimal communication need.I would reply that there is only 1 math boss (so far), so adding another one would make it 2. As for your latter point, you don't get why the memory game is more fun than some other way to solve things. I actually found it rather to my liking. Memorising things kike that is what I consider fun. You like the math boss and I'm sure you know some people loathe it. Not everything can please everyone. This time we got this set of mechanics. That's just how it is.
If you say 'pls' because it's shorter than 'please', I say 'no' because it's shorter than 'yes'.
