If you found an alliance raid as a walk in the park when you first time get to it, there's nothing to improve at. Instead of shying to go in it again, go in to try and learn it better. Knowing what happened the previous time, you know what to be on a lookout for. You very likely can't wipe the whole alliance by your own actions. Every death is a question "why did that mechanic kill me" to solve. Don't be afraid of improving your skills on the side.
