You have spent dozens of pages crying about people and insulting them in ways you think aren't rule breaking, calling people a hive mind, attacking people for disagreeing with you, perpetuating the very toxicity you claim you oppose while taking people giving you the most mild pushback ever so personally that you feel the need to drop a paragraph from the CoC and pretend like you're a forum cop backseat moderating people who quite frankly, aren't saying or doing anything rulebreaking outside of a couple of instance that were already dealt with by actual mods.

Nice try.

The content is optional in the same way the whole expansion is optional. People bought the expansion expecting to engage with the endgame. People hitting DT level cap are players who are current with the game. Suggesting players who stay current aren't interested in endgame is not realistic.

I can't prove that but I shouldn't need to. Saying "A game for everyone is a game for no one" doesn't make sense. When I say everyone I'm talking about fans of FFXIV not "everyone in the world" and that should have been obvious.

This is just the "I paid for the expansion so I should get everything in the expansion, therefore locking glams I want behind ultimate completions is gatekeeping me out of content I paid for" discourse all over again but re-worded to be "having content that is too difficult for me personally is gatekeeping me out of content I paid for".

People who say it's too hard are understandable. FFXIV has terrible difficulty curve, it doesn't teach you how to be better at the game as you play it. There are subcommunities of rpers, socializers, and plotwatchers who really only use the game as a social media platform. They aren't interested in the gameplay beyond clearing mandatory content one time ever.
The fault is on Squex/CB3, not on them for not getting good, because the game doesn't teach them how to get good.

In line with wanting glamors and such from content they can't clear, they seem to have forgotten that they are playing a video game, not a 3d avatar chatroom.

The game lacks reactive gameplay, the healer problem is the perfect example of that. The difficulty is in perfection of execution, memorization of puzzle mechanics with no rng. It's more like studying for and taking a test, like savage raids, and normal content is just the lite version

I think you missed the point. A large amount of the players who voiced their opinion AREN'T hardcore raiders myself included, the hardcore raiders make up a small amount of the playerbase

You expect me to believe that you and others here bullying someone for thinking normal is hard have no plans progressing past normal difficulty? Ya'll are transparent and it's embarrassing that you think you're fooling anyone.

Some of it definitely is harder than last expansion at least, but a good chunk is just people forgetting what doing things week 1 was like when all the mechanics were new and everyone was close to minimum ilvl.

Some of it definitely stems from Endwalker being over simplified across the board. But a lot of content from Heavensward to Shadowbringers is on par with Dawntrail if not harder.
