If you put as much effort in to improving and trying to be better as you have put so far creating wild conspiracy theories and researching the ToS then you wouldn't be having any issues. Clearly time isn't a problem for you, because you keep spending a bunch of time and effort into belaboring this point. Why do you not put that same effort into being better? I can't imagine it is fun to be struggling this much, surely if anyone stands to benefit from putting that time in it is you. It isn't a lot. People have been offering a ton of constructive criticism and people have even made new threads to offer some fundamental advice that may help resolve things.

Did I say anything about the trials being "too difficult"? No, I have actively defended the design decisions. I have only criticized two things:
1) the netcode
2) the community's attitude towards OP, which often crosses the line as you can see in this thread

Also, like, you're conflating the in-game ToS with the forum's ToS, they're most likely not the same.

why are we letting the thread survive? Time would probably be better spent creating different threads encouraging the good design decisions of the devs.

Reddit has already raided the Dungeons forum with about 30 threads after someone posted on /r/ffxiv. People will still post in this one because they need to defend their honor against OP, who is (apparently) threatening to steal FFXIV from everyone else. People feel very insecure about "losing" FFXIV because it's so difficult to get the devs to do the right thing.

Oh I agree with SE taking a while to do the right thing. It took them what, 6 years to un-lobotomize the battle content despite constant outcry and dwindling population? I can actually understand the insecurity because if it gets reverted, for many people, it would be the final nail in the coffin.

After having watched the game decay in ways that I care about for about this long, it feels like square enix is making things right, to reverse this in such a short amount of time, yes, it would be.
I have had discussion with a few discord friends right before DT came out, was something along the lines of "I feel left behind by the game, the content that used to be made for me doesn't feel like it is anymore, and everything above feels like too much of a commitment for me", I really felt stuck between two brackets of content and nothing felt made for me anymore. It does now, or at least it feels like a very big step in the right direction, and I look forward to the future now. Haven't felt excited for content outside of story in a while.

Damn right people are gonna feel insecure about it. Regular content is finally fun again and you have people like OP who can't find find the courage deep in their soul to conquer the fear of pressing a couple buttons and want to get the dev's attention so it can be reverted all back to sleep mode endwalker difficulty. I don't blame a single person for throwing it right back at OP given the history of the game. Hypercasuals have gotten catered to enough.

that's great and all but are you a mod? no?? then please stop pretending to be one. several posts have been removed for either breaking TOS by actual mods or from users themselves. you aren't our boss so why should we listen to you?
