MINE= Minimum Item Level No Echo
Ah, thanks.
I'm a huge fromsoft fan and seeing people complain about the DLC difficulty really annoyed me. I bought the game because I wanted to be challenged and the game marketed itself as a challenge. To be honest, I think it's a little too easy.
So yeah I'm a hardcore elitist gamer. I want sweaty palms.
I don't think FFXIV players need to be like that. Default endgame content should be approachable to everyone. Let them play the game they paid for with their own money. If you're like me you'll get what you want with the hardmodes.
Calling endgame content "optional" is disingenuous. If someone is hitting the DT level cap they are more than likely expecting to engage with the endgame. They don't have to be "good" at the game. That doesn't matter because they're fans too and they are allowed to have expectations and voice complaints.
Why take a stand on default content as a hardcore player? Just let people enjoy it and look forward to the harder modes that are tuned with you in mind. Not everything has to be made for you and players who just want to chill deserve content as well. It's perfectly reasonable for anyone to expect to be able to experience the default dungeons.
I think you missed the point. A large amount of the players who voiced their opinion AREN'T hardcore raiders myself included, the hardcore raiders make up a small amount of the playerbaseI'm a huge fromsoft fan and seeing people complain about the DLC difficulty really annoyed me. You expect me to believe that you and others here bullying someone for thinking normal is hard have no plans progressing past normal difficulty? Ya'll are transparent and it's embarrassing that you think you're fooling anyone.
if you actually read the posts in here, we all tried to help OP and correct some points. but OP didn't want to have it, they just cant understand that people have differing opinions and they are not willing to change their mind set at all despite so many giving good advice. we are not harcore players pretending to be casual, what are you on about?? put simply its not bullying at all, they raised points of concern and we tried to help with how/why the content is how it is and how they can progress into understanding the gameplay that's now in DT.
i have painfully read every post, every quote. if i was a stats nerd id make a spreadsheet in exel to show you raw numbers. the fact casual players agree that OP has made a bad take is telling that players do NOT want easy brain dead content, we just had this change less than a month ago lmao can we not let this ride for a while so we can get to grips with it??
again, you are a new player or not using your main account. being new is awesome and that's great but if you haven't even been able to so SB raids or even trails onwards you dont understand fully what we are talking about. watching videos/ reading reviews are not a transferable experience to yourself. at least get the current content before attempting to ridicule people for having their opinions on a bad take.
I mean yea, I expect you to believe that. Why wouldnt you.
I only do Ex when there are 7 other people online I know which is rarely ever the case, hence why Sophia Ex is the last clear we have outside of some EW outliers.
I have 0 savage clears that are synced.
I do not want the game to get easier, DT is a great step forward and I enjoy the difficulty increase as it makes the content fun.
Yeah. Obviously.
People who don't have the time/energy/skill to raid Savage are the ones who benefit the most from Normal content being slightly more interesting than it was in Endwalker.
Casual players like being challenged too.
