Difficulty of normal content.

I gonna be terribly honest with you, I would prefer if they don't, but I'm not asking for it because I know that's too far. I'm willing to suck it up.

Do you by chance deal with Left-Right confusion? Apparently some small portion of the population does struggle with immediate identification of left vs right and it causes difficulty with things like maps, directions, etc.

Even if they do, this isn't an excuse. I raid with someone with extreme left/right confusion. They cleared multiple savage tiers and 3 ultimates. As much as it sucks, it can be overcome enough to play the game even if help is needed from others.

I thought disassociation of the word from the direction was pretty common among the population.

Also sorry to keep rapid posting, but for as much as you want to blame xeno and arthars and whoever, neither of them (didn't watch happy's video so I can't speak for him) were rude or toxic or dogpiling on you, they just didn't agree with you and made a video about it. They read your points, saw where you were coming from, and disagreed, that's it.

Actually kudos to MrHappy because he doesn't show the names in the posts neither link the forum. Arthars on the other hand went to look for logs from my character which surprise, I don't have (actually I am surprised there were a couple of logs, someone else must have uploaded them), but I am complaining about the difficulty of normal raids, why did he thought he was gonna find any log? He's either a) an idiot or b) knowing perfectly well he wasn't going to find any and did it to drag me though the mud, because of course your opinion only matter if you rainbow parse, or whatever.
And they weren't rude? Arthars call me "entitled casual" in the thumbnail, Xeno calls me "filthy casual" and mocks my post. They were agitating people against me, even if accidentally.

I mean you're a casual player and you're acting entitled, that's not being rude, that's just stating a fact. I watched Xeno's video twice to double check, he never calls you a "filthy casual" as far as I can tell, and goes as far as to say he knows you're doing your best and he is trying to keep an open mind and be helpful and not mean. If there's a spot where he called you that in the vid that I missed, I apologize for the mistake, but as I said I watched twice to check and searched the transcript. I know your persecution complex wants to believe that the big bad streamers were toxic and sicced their communities on you, but I think the reality is just that the vast majority of the player base disagrees with your opinion and decided to voice it, and you're in denial about that. I think this is also why you're reading into Arthars' motives for looking for your logs the way you are. I think a perfectly reasonable explanation for doing that is to get a sense of where your skill level as a player is and what content you've attempted/cleared, in order to give context to your opinion. You say why did he think he would find any log unless he's an idiot, and in the same post acknowledge that you do have logs and in this thread have said you have done some EX/Savage content. Like how can you say they should've known/assumed you never did anything harder than normal mode when you factually have done things harder than normal mode?

I looked at your logs, and as far as i can tell you aren't either as bad or as casual as you represent here. You do solid damage and you don't die often, so what's the issue?

I guess i have two guesses:
a) you just want a more chill experince. Challenge causes you anxiety which makes you uncomfortable. If this is true, not only are there many, many games out there, but there is also tons of content that delivers this experince. Even in the case you're a solo player you can turn down difficulty in solo duties now and trusts will patiently let you learn instances with almost no pressure. What i see is you actually aren't that bad at the game, so I'd be shocked if you had real difficulty in MSQ dungeons.
b) you've taken a posistion to argue it and you just like to argue. In this case, I'm a lawyer, i get it, it IS fun. Have you considered law school? besides the crippling debt and abusive work conditions, it might be a good fit for you.

What i haven't liked is that you seem so firm on your posistion despite good counterargumetns or ameliorating suggestions. I don't think you have to change your posistion here, but lots of people have made some good points, they should be aknowledged.

Ultimately the resentment i think is simple. When you play with other players, you obliged to try. Simply put, it's like having a group project and neglecting your part. We don't even expect people to be GOOD, i think the community just expects some EFFORT.

Anyways, I think the thread has run its course. If anything, people are just hurting themselves by yelling into the void.

Are you talking to me? It's so very confusing who's talking to who without quoting right now.
First, what logs? I saw in Arthars video I had a couple from like Byakko ex I believe but I don't upload.
Second, it's definitely A, I didn't came to argue and if I've been so dismissive it's because I kinda knew the kind of responses I was going to get. Even then, multiple times I started writing novel-size posts of retorts that ended deleting because what's even the point? nobody is gonna read even half of them and whatever they read they gonna interpret the way they want, like all my other posts.
The only reason I've been active this last couple of pages is because, TBH, the discussion about mechanics was kinda funny.
I do want to chill, before I could do it but now I can't anymore. I stopped doing extremes because it was too much hassle. And yeah, if I don't enjoy the game anymore I will stop playing, but I'd rather not reach that point.
