    Barbariccia had those exact nonstandard tells as you put them as Honey B. At what point does it become standard? The expanding hearts was lifted straight from Byakko and follow a specific pattern. The explosions on the floor follow a pattern as well. The bees on the edge of the arena are from Mocianne's Arboreum (or whatever the place is called.) with the queen bee boss, and are arguably harder than Honey B's.

    One of the only wholly original mechanics this expansion was the floor tiles in the cactus dungeon, and the bombs in the holes on the furnace boss.

    It's okay to wipe. And it really IS about learning the fight. Seeing the mechanic for what it is cuts down on the 'mental demands' as you put massively every time you see it, until it becomes reflex.

    Not everything needs to be an orange circle with a 10 second lead time.

    I do think the game could do with explaining how enemies perform targeting snapshots and that the animations are not dangerous if you were out of the mechanic when the castbar finished, but outside of that there really isn't a whole lot new on display here.

    It's just presented in an actually interesting format this go around.
