The DT normal content is not savage or even extreme levels of difficulty but I do believe that at level 100 the normal content should have a bit more of a bite and be less coma inducing than what was the normal content of ShB/EW era. Dying and not doing well in normal duty finder content is OK and not a flaw at all with the content. You can always get improve and none of the DT normal content is so punishing as to prevent regular clears with random people.
