The developers are going to see the critics on the JP forums and the anti-critics on the English forums/Reddit/YouTube and conclude that these new raids were a mistake. None of the 1000+ commenters were saying any of this stuff during Endwalker. If you complained about the game being too easy or boring, people lashed out and told you to play other games. But now it's different. Everyone's regulators must've gotten an update.
I'll admit that I tried my hardest to avoid using these forums (hence the low post count), but were people actually hostile to those asking for normal content to be a little more difficult? That sentiment's been around since I started playing (just before 5.1 SHB) and it seemed extremely common, at least outside of here. I remember that final pull in Anamnesis Anyder getting a lot of praise because it was a little harder than most dungeon pulls at the time, even if it quickly got outscaled and now a caster LB turns it to smithereens.
