I like turbocasuals, it sounds funny and isn't disparaging imho.
I think it's okay if people are that, I don't judge it, I just don't want the devs to make the content that appeals to me appeal to them instead like they did in the past.

I consider myself casual as I no longer do savage raids. I still do extremes and love the new dungeons, raid bosses, mechanics, etc. The team did a wonderful job and I hope they continue making fights creative and interesting, with some familiar stuff of course. To those complaining all I have to say is stop pushing your agenda to make everything easy mode. You are supposed to wipe on new bosses, more than once at that. Things should be a little rough at the start, that is what makes it fun. Just take a moment to reflect on how you messed up and learn the fight, it is not a difficult concept.

Chipping in my own datapointsSo its now week four of the dungeons and week two of the raid.
Focusing on the raid, i can categorically say that week two is easier.
Week one deaths: M1 - 9, M2 - 4, M3 - 1, M4 - 6
Week two deaths so far: M1 - 1, M3 - 0 (yet to do M2/4)
This is because the fight is easier because I have now experienced it more.
Stop being an overdramatic reactionary and actually experience things. Or actually contextualise it better by stating its your initial thoughts, rather than a blanket view that things are too difficult.
Unfamiliar =/= more difficult!
Week 1: 0, 2, 0, 3
Week 2: 0, 0, 0, 0

That is because the OP is dead wrong and is actively trying to ruin the game. That is how I see their so-called opinion, they wanted to start an argument on the forums, well they got it.You and your ilk have spent over 100 pages and 1,000 posts obsessing over OP for posting an opinion. Not only that, but you lash out with ad hominems against anyone who defends OP. This doesn’t look good for Final Fantasy XIV. At this point, I don’t think the community can be saved. Let’s hope World of Warcraft’s new expansion is good and Blizzard can nurture a better community than this one. It’s sad that a multibillion-dollar corporation gets people to attack each other because it can’t fix the net code or the hitboxes in M2.

Sorry to hear of your experience in-game. Can't say have experienced anything to that degree, though did offend some weirdo by 'targeting' them for too long whilst trying to look at a particular Glam arm piece they had that I was unfamiliar with; I apologised and explained, and added that I thought their glam looked great but before I knew it they'd summoned their FC Leader to "have a word with me". Some people!I mean, I don't see people demanding square enix make my own experience worst for their own sakes in game, so naturally, I'm not inclined to defend my interests concerning that topic in game.
However, I've been stalked and unfairly demonized by a person who told lies about me to my people in limsa and in my fc because she got too close to me and I put a stop to it. She did not handle rejection well. :P
At first, everyone turned on me, it worked so well, it genuinely like, affected my RL, I couldn't sleep anymore, I was constantly anxious about what was going on in game. I was working on an FC with a friend, we had something like 25 members, when this broke out in the FC, half of our members left overnight. I had to leave myself to stop the bleeding. I was getting disparaging IM's from people I didn't even know that I've never met that aren't even near me. Even friends that supported me at first stopped associating with me because they didn't want to make themselves a target.
And like, I'd say it's the effect she was looking for, so much that she got empowered to take it further and further, and at some point she crossed lines both for people and for staff.
She got reprimanded, and people started looking at her sideways, so she changed servers. Whole ordeal lasted about two months. I don't even see this kind of commitment to drama in things like VRChat and Second Life lol.
Since then, I haven't really participated socially beyond helping sprouts and chipping in on some off topic discussions in NN.
Rules are applied more severely in game, so people are a lot more subtle with their drama.
People gossip in IM's and in their CWLS', changing or omitting just liiittle details in events surrounding them to change the narrative in their favor, that sort of stuff. Very mean girls energy. :P
I prefer the forums if we're talking about "community", it's more honest and upfront, but whether it's in game or in the forums, community is not as good as we pretend.
When it does get dramatic though, it goes hard rofl. How that tweet describes ffxiv drama is very on-point, I feel, and not just accurate about social media/forums. It's exactly the experience I recounted up there.
ultimately that's the only reason I'm piping up, OP is allowed to have that opinion but I don't want that opinion unchallenged on the official forums and used by the devs as feedback for future content. it's unfortunate that OP and others are struggling with the content, I hope they are able to improve and overcome the challenge, and would even be willing to try and assist them in improving but I don't want to see it made even easier. I think Dawntrail is in a very fun spot, in normal mode combat content, it's one of the few things I don't have any complaints about with the expac.

I had four deaths and we wiped once this week, did all four.
We wiped on Honey B, I said in party chat: "I don't even mind, these fights are so entertaining".
It's a letdown when I personally die, but I blame myself, and I encourage myself to not let it happen next time. ♥
I was so eager to redo the fights that I went ahead and didn't wait for my friends lol, I got all my loots, but hell yeah I'll do them again.
There's 25 million players on ffxiv, and square has data on each and every one of them.
They know if you're wiping on honey b, they know if it's unfair, all of that irrespective of your own perspective in favor of a less biased one.
I'm sorry you find these fights annoying, but I found endwalker fights boring. ;o;
Just checking, who are you replying to? Because the character linked to OP's profile has a level 92 Red Mage at the moment, and you didn't directly reply to anyone.Hello
In a couple of your previous posts, which, for some reason you edited out the original content and replaced it with the same message, you stated that you struggled in EW and that have very bad anxiety and only do content with trusts. I am going to assume that the character on your profile is an alt since you only have a lvl 6 arcanist on it and you are not able to run any kind of instanced content at said lvl.
So unless you are just a troll, trying to stir shit up, trying to gain sympathy and you are actually being truthful, I am genuinely curious as to what content, dungeon, specific mechanics etc in EW that you struggled with?
