Yes, it is, as I stated a little above, and for anybody who sees anybody else try to pull that little stunt, the specific violation here is obstruction of play, potentially grief tactics aswell.Hey, can somebody clarify something for me, isn't that reportable? Just dying, refusing raids and refusing to play the game? Did you get through all the tougher fights by just dying and letting somebody carry you through it?
This is not massively difficult content. You're max level. You should know what you're doing by now.
Yet you are here in the forums thinking you represent the community and trying to fish a validation by twisting the words from a streamer when there is no validation for not knowing how to play the game and to realize this is not a walking simulator, you just wanna grief for the sake of grief to anyone playing with you and your "protest" and openly claiming it against ToS. The irony lmao. But you see I already decided that I gonna protest (and yes, I think deserves to be protested) by just not doing it (already said it in the OP) and not go with the second option because a) I'm not an as$hole, and b) as I said I don't believe the people in this forum represent the community at large and I would be griefing the wrong people.
I don't get it honestly. I'm very much a casual these days and the first runs through dungeons are about the highest form of difficulty I experience now in the game.
The story dungeon difficulty step up has been awesome. Every game doesn't have to be for every player, and I think posts here show this is a minority opinion and I just hope it's not something taken forward.
Thanks for the clarification. Didn't see your post at the time, so that's good to know in case I see somebody like OP pulling that little stunt.
I'm still shocked they managed to get by Stormblood's last boss, to be frank. I did that fight the week Stormblood came out, it took a couple of lockouts because that fight had teeth.
The trusts can clear an entire dungeon. You don't have to press a single button.
lmfao so you just want the game to be boring forever? PLEASE be joking. game has been a snoozefest until now. Get better
You seem to be awfully obsessed with what streamers say. I see the lack of accountability here. Many people disagree with your take and your immediate reaction was to blame streamers. What a joke.

Yeah that's the whole point, stop complaining over normal difficulty and play the game, it's not a visual novel where you just sit and watch.
OP is whinning about the """""serious""""" player having a lot of content and the that "normal" difficulty should be a true free pass ( and to be honest, it is, you can kill the boss spamming one attack and using "WASD", it will just take a while) and that when they learned the fight the other dont learn at the same rythme.
If you want to do a boss fight where the boss only auto attack one tank maybe you should just dont do the fight and go look the cutscene on youtube.
Worst of all if you do that, the "casual" who want to try something harder will meet a HUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE wall , far taller than the one you have right now, so more difficult to adapt and learn.
It's not a problem to die in a fight , that's the base of learning, if you dont want to learn a fight, dont do it and stop complaining.

I'm going to disagree with you on the 'too difficult normal content' end of this. I have dyslexia, I do have partial color-blindness, and as of Shadowbringers, I am super casual in the game these days (mainly due to just not having enough time to do savage/ex content on a normal basis due to real life obligations), but I have been around since the 1.0 alpha days to include doing harder fights/raids up until shadowbringers came out. With that all said I'm going to say I entirely disagree. Normal content for a long time has been pretty 'turn your brain off and do it' which is pretty boring. You know what I hated the most of the last two expansion packs? Stuff being way too easy in normal content and instead having high damage raid wide attacks to make it seem hard and creating a 2 min burst window that everyone has to match up to in order to get the most out of damage. Then there is the transitions....how I hate HATE transitions in fights, and they are everywhere now. Normal content, 24 main raind, 8 man raid, EX/savage.....waste of time. Not worrying about getting too many vulnerability or attack down, or whatever debuff. No, they just made huge high damage raid wide damage attacks. That was very boring, very easy, and the worst mechanic you really saw in normal content (subjectively) was seen in the final 24 main raid boss, even then that was more about paying attention and turning off others effects so you could see what was going on.
I enjoy that they put more effort into the boss fights in the game for normal content. Even then, after seeing/doing it a handful of times it becomes auto pilot too. The biggest hurt is on casters who have to move a lot to avoid it, but that is offset by the fact even melee have to move around and out of range to avoid getting too many debuffs on a fight. Additionally, I think it is important to reserve your opinion until doing it more and getting better gear before saying something is too difficult for normal content. Having to actually think and pay attention in normal content isn't a bad thing, and most of the 'too fast' mechanics aren't really that fast as they lead with either animated telegraphs (the enemy has a defined animation before seeing the AOE telegraph) or they have set patterns, or even move in such a way they are avoidable if you aren't being too greedy with your dps/functions to care.
Hmmmm......

After thinking about all this more, I'm really starting to see how bad of an idea it was to make EW so easy. Some of the new fights are certainly a challenge, but they wouldn't have been out of place in HW or SB.
