just make casusl fights harder, instead of keeping them "easy / normal" but fun / engaging => lose casuals /player over time...
(just like making HC content too easy => lose HC players over time)

I really disagree. I've been spamming this forum for two days now to argue that casu content should stay as it is, and that ‘casu’ content has nothing to do with a lack of (reasonable) challenge. DT is on a very good path, and I hope they continue to do so.
Having said that, it's perfectly abnormal for streamers to get involved. Guys lead communities that can behave like rabid dogs (because the group effect is often an atrocious thing, let's face it). The guys should at least have the decency not to target a particular post, and frankly that would be worthy of legal penalties. This kind of thing can go a long way, and we're not in the early days of the internet where raids on communities/individuals and cyberstalking in general were ignored phenomena.

I... Don't care if you in particular didn't come here after you've watch the video ? It's still a professional failure for this youtuber.Okay, look, full disclosure: I didn't watch the video and I didn't come here because of it. I came here because reddit suggested this would be a good place to provide positive feedback towards DT where the devs are watching. I love the DT content so I did so. My comment was not directed at this video but a general statement: directing people here to counter a, imo, harmful sentiment that the game should return to 15 second cast bars for single mechanics and zero-thought content. If they did, in fact, tell people to come here and call the OP a maidenless n00b or whatever that's obviously wrong. I yield that point if it's the case.
As said before : I agree with you. I like DT content. But that's not what I'm talking about, and it doesn't mean I have to be ok with a youtuber being (once again) irresponsible.
OP, people like you is the bane of this game.
Normal mode is easy, nothing out of the ordinary for raids, maybe a tiny bit harder, but still easy. You shouldn't blame your skill issue on the content. Any game should have a degree of difficulty, and making this game super easy so you can turn off your brain while you have 3 youtube videos in the background should never be the point.
This degree of difficulty is fine, even better than it was before, and I can't disagree more in every single point of yours and I hope the don't dumb down the game more because this has been an issue for years.
Also, stop playing victim. No one is mobilizing their followers, you're no martyr. Is people reacting to the nonsense you post on the internet and replying because they think your take is bad. If you don't want that to happen, don't post nonsense, or even stuff, into the internet. The moment you post an opinion, the moment anyone will voice their opinion of your opinion. It is how it is. Let's grow up and stop playing victim.

I think that all the content in this new expansion is as demanding as it should be. You are expected to do more effort than you did in the past since that's supposed to be the progression in a game, not a grind for xp.
Mechanics and patters are working perfectly, Honey B. is not random, no she is not. Some people who don't pay enough attention can mistakenly think she is, but it follows a pattern, as His Royal Headness Leonogg I does. (Patterns related to current players positions). So no "headless chicken evading", just some thinking.
I know, that not doing some content because its too difficult for you can be frustrating, and that this might mean "not enough content" for "casuals". But its not like that, the content is just not made for people who wont put basic effort, because content is supposed to require attention.
Maybe the problem is not the game, maybe its that game is not for people like you. Not every game is for everyone, and a game with 33 skill buttons doesn't look like its made for people who don't care enough (though it has been happening for a long time).
If you played any rpg at all such as any other final fantasy you will be able to notice that the skill you are required to defeat final boss is not the same as you are required at the middle of the story, and that's ok, that's how its supposed to be.
Also, that the dungeons and raids have happened to be doable without any effort doesn't mean that that is how its supposed to be done, maybe behind every dungeon done poorly was a healer sweating, or a timer going to 30 mins instead of 15.
Content is cool, content right now is in a great moment of skill expectation. And some players may have to hit the training dummy a little yeah, but surely its not hard enough for anyone to really struggle.

Agree with the thread (and the Japanese players) content is way too hard this expac. The game built a fanbase who likes content a certain way and y'all want to make it too challenging and squeeze everyone who has been here eight years out. I just won't play anymore.

Except 8 years ago this game was tougher than it is right now.Agree with the thread (and the Japanese players) content is way too hard this expac. This game was and always will be focusing on the casual playerbase. Raiding on this game was always a niche content. Especially in the direction on Ultimates.Agree with the thread (and the Japanese players) content is way too hard this expac. Even the classes you are playing are balanced so literally everyone can play them.
The most amount of content thats provided to the players is also for casuals.
And now the difficulty of normal stuff got slightly increased and its to hard now? Its not even near the difficulty of Extremes, Savage and Ultimates.
Also you are wrong. You, the OP and a few others in this Thread are a minority of players for who the game is to hard. You are not the "built fanbase" you are talking about. Im sorry, but thats the truth. You are not a midcore player and not even casual player. Because these are mostly satisfied with the changes and dont complain and also are the biggest part of the "built fanbase".
That you are now accusing us to "squeeze everyone" is just ignorant, since u people literally doing it yourself right now.
As you mentioned you wont play anymore - this is the right choice, because it seems like this is not a game for you. And thats totally fine.
You guys got too used to Endwalker. Endwalker was a great cinematic experience. Besides that ? Everything else did hurt the game.Agree with the thread (and the Japanese players) content is way too hard this expac. You do that, get back to EW level of content designs, FFXIV wont survive the next 2 expansions without even more radical changes. Endwalker 6.0 got hyped to heaven thanks to WoW Shadowlands and streamers starting to play it. Game was losing players afterwards during 6.1-6.5 because of how weak the patches (MSQ/Content wise) and boring the dungeons/trials/raids were.
To be fully honest here, DSR is one of the best designed fights in the game and it came in Endwalker. But that's for a niche audience. For other high-end content it was very hit or miss. DSR is great, but TOP is widely considered to have big design issues. Anabaseios Savage was very nice, Abyssos Savage had issues. Barbariccia Ex was great, Rubicante Ex was pretty bad. And yeah all of the normal mode content was a pushover. You guys got too used to Endwalker. Endwalker was a great cinematic experience. Besides that ? Everything else did hurt the game.

Still waiting to see how Arcadion Savage will hold up, and if FRU is gonna be good, but the normal mode changes make me very hopeful and I'm hyped. DT shows a significant improvement in the encounter design department.
