I do not do savage raiding anymore and I welcome more challenging dungeons and raids both 8 man and alliance. They should be more difficult, wiping is ok, getting beat down in a dungeon is ok, it is not a huge deal. You live and learn, plus it makes things way more fun and interesting.

I definitely fell victim to this, I joined in 5.2 and thought I was impressive cleared synced ARR EXs and then got a very rude awakening and was quickly humbled when I jumped into Eden’s Verse Savage. Difference is I gradually worked on my shortcomings, improved my fundamentals and game sense and now I’m definitely reaping the benefits. If you put in the groundwork early on in FFXIV it pays off massively in the long run…
I have to say, while I am not exceptional in any way, I've still cleared some high-end content, and to my shame some of these normal raids had me rolling on the floor a bit..
I found it funny, humbling, and made me even more excited for the new tier.
PS: regarding the topic, just because it's casual it doesn't mean it has to be absolutely brain-dead. You can prog it at your pace with close to 0 pressure.

I found it hilarious when I fell to my death on the floor break mechanic in M1N but it taught me an important lesson, that this was a mechanic you had to pay very close attention to, that one hit damages a platform and two hits breaks one and you need to move to a platform that isn’t being hit or hit once when it’s safe to do so…

IIRC OP was unhappy about the Love Me Tender bullet hell section during Honey B Live, if you’re struggling to do your rotation during this then there is another option, drop rotation and focus on dodging the AOEs, after all there’s no DPS check or enrage in M2N so you could just start attacking again once the bullet hell part is over, then they could always try to keep their rotation going during that part once they feel more confident with it… However, if they’re not willing to give it another go despite the advice offered then I don’t think there’s any helping them.
OP is definitely in bad faith as they clearly mentioned numerous times, they have no intention of trying to get better at the content
Unfortunately for them, despite the attention it garnered, 72 pages and a content creator referencing it, this game is very likely to follow the course of a normal videogame with progression: content gets harder as you get to higher levels. What SE is doing is just the natural progression of this type of videogame and as a player you have no choice but to adapt or stop playing
So I think OP is gonna stop playing

Honestly hope they stop playing. cause they refuse to learn.
