Real talk, just click the damn queue button. Do it in duty finder, act like the people you're with are trusts. You say you have anxiety, get frustrated because you wipe over and over with trusts, guess what, if you die in a duty finder party, they will rez you, you don't reset. You'll literally be trough the dungeon you're stuck on and onto more story within 25 minutes. do the same with the trials.

I see you have Pictomancer as your 'main' so i assume that's what you're playing, a dps, you have no responsibility, no reason to be anxious.
And if it lightens the burden you think you are going to be, just pop a macro/message to say it's your first time.

As cold as it might sound, you're not getting over any level of anxiety if you don't face it head on.

Isn't this....exactly what you are doing though? Ppl seem to LOVE this raid tier and you are asking for nerfs to optional content cause its ruining your experience. The community you "know and love" has been asking for more difficulty for years and have been consistently told to go play ultimates if they want difficulty by ppl with incredibly rude attitudes. But now that it effects you, and you are not being the one catered too, for once, the sky is falling and everyone else is the problem? This just feels very entitled to me.

I actually struggled in Endwalker, so to me Dawntrail is unplayable
and It isn't for lack of trying, I promise you I study video's and Give My ALL. SO I am sick of people saying we're struggling because we're not trying!

I log in do my beast tribe and go play GW2 But I am seriously considering it may be time to actually quit the game.

I'm not going to say DawnTrail is easy, cause its not. It is definitely a challenge. I can't imagine running it with a trust. What you need is a good FC to run with. We have all types of skill level players in my FC. We all come together to get content done and help others where we can. Even if it means running dungeons over and over again to get a certian drop or whatever is needed. Once data center hopping is opened back up, I and a couple of others in my FC who have seen this post would be more than happy to run with you, if you like. Just throwing the offer out there. It is after all a MMO and shouldn't be played alone in my opinion.

It just makes me wonder like... if endwalker was too hard for them, how did they get through everything before it? Endwalker was largely a step down with respects to difficulty, both in fight and job design. Like... if they're struggling this hard, maybe it is a good idea to admit the game isn't for them rather than demanding to be catered to as the lowest denominator. It just strikes me as very unusual at this point, if they insist that it's not from lack of trying, that they're trying to force themselves through a game that they don't really mesh with. There are plenty of games too hard for me that I just don't play, because I have games that do cater to my skill level.

Like I have no doubt they find the dungeon too hard, I just dont understand how they got to that dungeon, and how theyve been walled on it when there really isnt a punishment for dying in this game and all the challenge leading up to it has already been there. How did they get through holminster, or the burn, or even good ol aurum vale? If they're a healer, that makes more sense, but at this point tanks can almost always fill that role in a pinch.

Just no. Your opinion does not matter here. Get good or leave the game. Bad or lazy players should and will not have a say on how content should be handled.

I like what I saw in the extremes trials and normal raids this time around. They were both fresh and fun. One thing that has been mentioned in abundance in this thread is accepting and learning from failure. I think a lot of the people in this thread would be very understanding and helpful if they saw someone else repeatedly dying but don't offer themselves that same courtesy.

If you find the current normal raid too hard, that's okay. Run the same floor with some friends repeatedly, watch a video or hell, just get in there, fail hard and fast and have a good time. The vast majority of people aren't going to lose their shit just because you died 5 times. It happens.
