This has gotten to a ridiculous point.
I can't believe, of all things, this is what get me to post in this hellhole where neurons go die, but you guys have been coddled by the game getting easier for so long you can't even realise you could have almost played the whole of endwalker raids on a second screen while watching a tv show.
This game is a snoozefest, quite literally, to the point it became known as the retirement home of MMO players, if not other types of games too.

If you can't play at this level, learn to play your job and to dodge aoes, because all this game bases its mechanics on is those, counting to 8, and recognising shapes or colours (you only get a pass at complaining if you're colourblind because the options for that in this game are bad).

You can't do normal raids at this level? Don't. You don't need them.
You want to do them anyway? Learn how.
It's about time we started demanding competence in duties, instead of side-eyeing that pug in PF that can't even 1-2-3 because the game didn't require them to before that point.

If you can't handle social interactions in a game, don't play an MMO.
No one wants to cater to whatever issue you have becaue you picked a game you couldn't handle due to such a crippling disability.
As harsh as that can sound, get therapy and try to get better before you attempt social interactions, cause we have no obligations to play up to that, and neither do the devs.

If your physical condition makes it hard, there's ways to alleviate it, albeit it might take getting used to it - as someone with only six functioning fingers and one working eye, plus an absurd amount of wrists pains, trust me, it's doable.

If you'd rather just complain that the game is too hard on the forums, praying that the devs give up and dumb the game down again because you cba to learn how to do optional content but still want to have a clear badge, rethink your priorities and consider a different, easier game that fits your needs.

Thank you for the pass with their terrible color blind options. As one though like many others with disabilities I know I have cleared these fights, Extremes, and Savage just fine. If someone wants to get better they will. They should look up their rotations on Balance who do a ton of work for this community, look up guides on fights they are struggling with, many creators put a ton of work in as well to help the community, ask for help from other players in the game to help them in whatever they may be struggling to understand, and as many have said before me learn that is ok to die/wipe then get back up again and learn from their mistakes.

Idk why folks weren't expecting challenging content, normal raids have been escalating in challenge since 2.x. Get yourself a party of 8 and learn the fights. I promise you, you can do it.

Honestly, the fact you're doubling down on this instead of looking inward and growing, makes me feel that you probably don't deserve to play this game and/or play with others.

I dunno if means anything but I was so used to the faceroll dungeons and bosses, I was frustrated with boss mechanics going through DT....until I wasn't. I just finished the 4 new raids and I gotta say they felt a lot more manageable and fun then some of the EW 8 man bosses. I realized going into DT that I had gotten so used to easy mode content all it took was a little smartening up and these bosses are all par for the course now. There are only 2 bosses I legit hate in this game and feel they're unfun and just badly designed and it's the first 2 bosses in stray. There's is big difference between irritating and challenging and even though the esthetic of that dungeon is interesting, I don't appreciate getting F'ed in the ear as I'm dealing with it.

There are 487 posts in this thread, and only 18 of them (3.7%) belong to the OP. Nearly every other post (most from new accounts) is either criticizing the OP or saying that content should be even harder. There is a resounding new consensus for FFXIV.

You all need to be prepared for what happens next. Because the next people you argue with in the FFXIV community won't be OP, it'll be among the rest of you. And you will continue to push people out until the "inner circle" gets smaller and smaller. The raid mechanics are not nearly as difficult as you all claim they are, and yet you're using someone else's wipe to boost your own egos. This is a very troubling development for the FFXIV community.

Losing those people is, genuinely, actually fine. If they won't learn for themselves, they dang well won't learn for others and very definitely won't respect the time being put in by other party members, and I'm more than happy to lose those players. I'm sure I'm not the only one who thinks this way, and OP has already shown that they're willing to contemplate obstructing 7 other players' experience just so they don't have to learn for once in their life. There's a line between being casual and being a toxic casual. Casuals will step up to the challenge because it's fun to try and learn, toxic casuals are the ones whining perpetually about apparent difficulty and should by all means be weeded out. It's not like they don't retry in other games when they fail or get stuck, so why stop here?

EDIT: No. The raid mechanics aren't truly that hard, like you said. Which makes it all the more sad to see people whine about it and want SE to give us another expansion of uninspired content.

Don't care. Why don't you adopt OP and rush them through the content? Since you seem so inclined to protect them. XIV is becoming a GOOD game now. This is not for you anymore. Leave the game and don't come back.

And I know that's a possibility because many people's previous MMO (WoW) also saw the directors leave. And the game failed because of that. So are you sure you want everyone who disagrees with you to be forced out?

You are using a minute increase in difficulty as an excuse to lash out at those who have differing opinions about the content. That is the most troubling aspect. Some people have been waiting for three years to do this and are now finally having the opportunity to express a highly negative and elitist attitude like they used to do in other games. It's not a good sign for the FFXIV community.

bro, how long u play doesnt matter. if u suck at the game, then u suck
my office friend only play for 2 months at endwalker with 100ms, he can clear latest content savage already (it was tier1)
if u dont want to learn or adapt then be quiet
