Its an neverending content to fix content draught. So its good. If youve been there you know how its like when the game goes into sleep mode with nothing to do.

I love Eureka/Bozja, but I agree please no more FATE-trains, we have that in the normal areas
First off:
the Boss-Fates we got in Bozja/Zadnor are designed in a way that I'd love too see outside of Bozja/Zadnor ^^
Second:
if I recall correctly the majority seemed to be fine (many even liked/loved it) with Eureka and Bozja. Yoshi said something like that a couple of years back. It's way more interesting, especially when I think back what the last expansions relic-system was like. That was a lazy effort.
Don't do it i guess.
Loved Eureka, but Bozja just didn't do it for me. Maybe it was the fact that it was just FATE trains without spawnconditions that would mix them up a bit.
Nevertheless, I'm looking forward to the new field operations.
If you don't like Eureka/Bozja then don't play it and let the people who actually enjoy going in there (like me) play and have fun.
You are allowed to have an opinion obviously, but coming and saying "Please don't bring this back it sucks imo!!!" about optional content feels very weird.
In Shadowbringers for Bozja they implemented relic steps that didn't need you to go continue Bozja If you didn't like it (You only have to go through Southern Fronts + Castrum 1x, then Delubrum and one simple quest afterwards to unlock the whole questline, which can be easily done in 1-2 days without a lot of effort) and I'm pretty sure even IF they link the relics to the field instances, you will have the option to not go in there anyways.
Just don't do it or only do as much as needed If you really don't like it, just please please don't ruin it for the people who love and care about it.

Ok, ok. You dont like Bozja/Eureka. We got it. If that's such a big problem, then maybe it's time to open another thread and propose a better way for the relic questlines? Apperantly SE has a big issues to create engaging relic steps. Atma, Light, Poetic is all they can come up with.
Aslong, it isn't another EW free exchange. Relic's shouldnt be a tomestone equivelant. That's why tomestone weapon exist.
I didn't, my buddies did. I was just there to heal stuff but can't heal instagibs. Besides, no one would have died if they hadn't been AFK leeching XP in the first place, so my friends are not the "bad guys" here, it was the system that scaled so ridiculous that players felt like they could not contribute and went AFK when they didn't yet have the level but wanted to ride the FATE train.
I DID play the content properly and went in with an 8 man premade.
People here just have too bad a memory and forget that Eureka MK II actually tried hard to nuke the possibility of FATE trains and all that was left was raw mob grinds.
Until SE eventually caved and nerfed things, so you could get FATE trains going again and the second zone basically played like the first one.
Sorry but having to go to discord and deal with the hilariously contrived way to even get into BA was such a massive turn-off for me.What do you mean “not fun”. There is literally discord dedicated to help ppl clear BA and DRS.
And if you weren’t playing when this contents were freshly released, you dont know how much fun it is! Not everything will go as planned and things can be frustrating when you hit the hard part (BA death on ozma), bozja’s red chocobos, but thats for you to stand back up and try again!
As for the rest of the FATE mechanics: not really hard. Sure, Chocobro could kill you once but then it plays like any other raid boss whose mechanics you understand.
Only aggravating fact: 94376728 randoms w/o skills you actually need to somehow stay alive. Ugh... but hey, at least I snagged the Samaritan title. :'DI liked FATE train Bozja just fine. For a bit.
It was Eureka MK II in it's initial stage that was just hilariously dumb design. Thankfully SE backpedaled eventually.
Personally, I'd break it up a little.
Doing all the stages via FATE grind is just as boring as doing all stages via "turn in 1600 tome stones" (seriously Manderville was like ... totally anticlimactic).
Unfortunately, there is only so much you can do in an MMO when you want large scale, uncoordinated content.
The masses have no skills to speak of, so .... shit has to take the "grind" route or they would riot.

This is the last content they should forget to include in a expansion again, endwalker was a horrible mistake for not including it.
Hands down the best gaming experience I have ever had period exploring the secrets of eureka or just the fast flow of bozja. Relics or not it was really fun, lots of loot to obtain! Classic MMO experience packed into a few instances with unique levelling.
They are literally adding one of every kind of content this expansion. There will be something for you to enjoy so please don't speak for others. There is no cut corners this expansion. We are getting everything and that covers everyone!
I'm excited to get field operations again. I'm hoping that it'll be more than just a FATE grind and some terrible "timed instance" dungeon. I'm hoping gatherers and crafters can enjoy it just as much as combat jobs and I'm hoping that it will not be tied to the relic weapons story. Period. That's not to say I don't want to be able to progress relics while inside the content but that I don't want the content required to start or progress the relic at all. Long as it does that, I'll be excited to try it out.
