When will we get the promised housing updates?

It is a good question, when will we get more spaces to place things on inside our houses... it is about time.

Also to get rid of having to use glitches to place thing where we want, when will be be getting the @@##¤@ Z axis for ANYTHING.

I would guess in 7.1 since most of the previous major housing updates were released in the X.1 patch. That's not a guarantee, of course. It will depend on if the updates will be ready for release.

I hate it when people use the word Promised in thread titles. Whether it's intended or not, it presents the topic in such an entitled way lol.

They had a slide shown for the item increase at least in one of the live letters. I posted it on another thread asking about this. lol But as of yet, no details as to the specific amount of items, and the timeframe given was “7.x” so could be anywhere in the patches.

7.x is all we know. We know its coming, some of the media tour attendees asked about it, and they did confirm they are going to increase item limit, as well as they are trying very hard to be able to allow us to remove pillars and change interior styles (assuming this means to for example, use Shirogane style in Goblet for example).

Aye I watched the presentation where they said housing item limit was something they were looking into. I also heard there was one translation of a live letter somewhere out in the aether where they said it was going to happen; but I've never seen any "we are increasing the housing item limit" which is why I ask if it was ever actually promised. I often tell my kids I will consider ice cream tommorrow when they ask for ice cream at 9 in the evening.

YoshiP did state several times that the item limit increase is coming in 7.x. What was left unstated was whether it would be both outdoor and indoor, and how large an increase we'll be getting.

There was also mention of other changes, such as being able to change the interior architecture (pillars, stairs and that sort of thing) to the type we want regardless of district and possibly even pillar free (that was still a work in progress the last time he brought it up) but no mention of when those changes might happen.

So the item limit increase has been "promised" but as usual players may be setting their expectations too high about what we'll actually get and when.

Do we have a actual quote that it IS comming? I watched the presentation and his translator said "is something we are looking into" but I haven't seen a official SE word on it which is why I am asking. I've seen a dodgey live letter translation attempt the closest we have is..

Working on does not assure that we get the outcome we want - nor what that increase may take the form of which is why I get leery when folks throw around the promise...I mean this expansion has resulted in me being let down by folks called "the promise" a lot :-P
